Privacy information
This describes data handling in the current Elicia prototype. Processing locations, retention periods and backup deletion policies are not yet finalized and will be updated before public service. Reading this notice does not give consent to AI transfers.
Accounts and memorial records
We use your sign-in email, authentication information, name, language, time zone, adult confirmation, chosen photos, memorial spaces, messages, personality details and memories to provide authentication and memorial features. Memorial data is private by default, with server checks for account and space access. Photos are served from private storage after authorization.
Optional AI
AI is off by default. Only spaces with explicit consent to valid provider and processing-location disclosures and AI enabled may send messages, personality details, memories and some recent conversation for reply generation. Check the current consent screen for the provider, model and transmitted information. Photos are not included in the current reply-generation input. Memorial spaces and messages work without AI consent. Turning AI off blocks new execution and retains the consent record; withdrawing consent also revokes that consent. Requests already accepted by an external provider cannot be guaranteed to be recalled.
Notifications and device settings
In-app and push preferences are managed for your account and spaces. Push is off by default and requires device permission and registration. Registration processes an installation identifier, push token and associated session information. External push uses a generic notice and notification identifier instead of memorial text. Motion preferences are stored on this device, shared across its accounts and not synchronized to other devices.
Reports and operational access
We store report categories and handling status. Only authorized support staff and super administrators can view a reported reply after additional authentication and a recorded purpose. This screen does not expose all of your messages, personality details or memories. We process audits of access changes, important operations and evidence access, plus usage, cost and error counts. Memorial photos, messages and memories are not used for advertising profiles.
Deletion and remaining records
You can request space and account deletion in the app. Accepted account deletion blocks access and provides the status of subsequent photo, authentication-account and memorial-data cleanup. Incurred AI costs, uncertain request costs and minimal audit and deletion identifiers may remain; these are not guaranteed to be anonymous. Retention periods and deletion policies for backups and external provider copies are not yet finalized. We do not promise immediate deletion of every copy.

Do not include passwords, verification codes, API keys or sensitive memorial text in email. The operator's legal location and request-handling time frame will be provided once confirmed.
